English Literature & Composition: Commentary on the Human Condition
This course, drawn from a number of syllabi from across the country, attempts to provide a comprehensive review of the basic elements of English language and literature through thematic analysis. The authors explored have each, through the lens of their work, participated in the larger, literary discussion about the nature of humanity and the state of the human condition. With the help of reflective writing and literary analysis, this workshop is offered to help further cultivate a solid foundation of communication in, and comprehension of, the English language and the writers who have contributed to its literature. This course is also intended to spark conversation about mankind and answer the question, 'Who are we when no one is looking?'
