Business Entrepreneurship: Brands & Persuasion

Course Description
This unit is from a semester-long Curated Learning Experience (CLE) designed to provide students with the basic elements necessary to build a business through the presentation of business related topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation, and value creation. By the end of this CLE, students will be expected to communicate a clear vision, strategy, and value proposition for targeted customer segments. Technical aspects of this course will cover formal business language, creation of business documents and deliverables, presentation skills, and key financial metrics common among business organizations. Successful students will, for the culmination of this CLE, develop and present a formal business plan that succinctly frames a problem or issue as a business opportunity, sets a roadmap to capitalize on this opportunity, and clearly and persuasively communicates the market, expected profit, and projected return on investment potential.
