Last night we held our final Spring Semester class in the Level 4 facility. The students presented their original psychological research to a panel of guests that included Warden William Mulligan (pictured far left), Undersecretary for CJ Policy and Reform Mike Lawlor, CTDOC Commissioner Scott Semple, CTDOC Dir. of External Affairs Karen Martucci, Associate Professor at Southern New Hampshire University Dr. Lowell C. Matthews, Director of the Bridgeport Re-Entry Initiative Eric Christmas, and the inimitable Sue Gunderman, Interim Director of the Re-Entry Center to open in Hartford very soon.
This was a big moment for Second Chance and we could not have done it without everyone’s support, encouragement, and motivating words! Even bigger and better things are on the horizon and we’re excited to be on this journey with all of you!
